Tom has been a licensed Realtor in Santa Cruz for more than 32 years and a recognized thought-leader in the local real estate industry. In addition to being a top-producing agent and the recipient of numerous awards and sales accolades, (since 1990) he has also authored (since 1996) a well-known weekly newspaper column called "Real Estate of Mind," geared to educating local residents about the real estate process and changing market trends.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Tom was a successful restaurateur, marketing consultant, and business advocate. As a 45 year resident of Santa Cruz, he has also served on the boards of numerous charitable organizations at the same time he has actively contributed to a long list of philanthropic efforts, arts organizations, local schools, youth sports, and non-profit ventures. The Santa Cruz Association of Realtors honored him with their Annual Community Service Award in 2005, in recognition of his efforts to provide permanent housing for homeless families and children.
Today he serves on the Board of the Dominican Hospital Foundation and Senior Citizens Legal Services and is actively serving on both the Gateway School Facilities Committee and the Gift Acceptance Committee for the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County.
Tom is currently the Coastal Vice President and Regional Sales Manager for Sereno Group and he's responsible for guiding three local offices and mentoring 60 agents throughout Santa Cruz County.
