My interest in real estate began in 1980, one year after graduating high school. While attending San Jose State University and working at PW Supermarket in Willow Glen, I was able to purchase my first home. It was apparent back in 1980 that real estate would be my career path as the process was fascinating and rewarding. I became a licensed agent in 1986 and currently hold a California Department of Real Estate Broker's License (CA DRE #00913637), a GRI® designation (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) and a CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist).

For the past 35 yearsI've worked full-time representing buyers and sellers with the acquisition and disposition of residential and commercial properties throughout the Bay Area and the Monterey Peninsula. During this time I've acquired an extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and have developed the skills necessary to provide exceptional service - yielding outstanding results. I've represented contractors and developers in acquiring, remodeling and selling residential properties. I've consulted in the design, layout and finish material selection for residential and commercial projects. I've joint ventured with builders on new homes along with remodels. I've assisted with land entitlement and residential infill development, brokered small lot subdivisions, assisted in residential site analysis and development, represented new home tract developers and have completed IRC Section §1031 tax deferred exchanges. I own and manage my own portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

My business is primarily based on referrals from past clients, current clients and from colleagues with challenging transactions requiring my expertise. I've completed a Negotiation Course through Stanford University, Center for Professional Development, I am proficient in real estate contract negotiations, understand my fiduciary obligation to my clients and use a common sense approach to problem solving. I have the experience and knowledge to delve into complicated and challenging transactions and provide positive and favorable results.

I've lived and worked in San Jose my entire life and have developed personal and business relationships within the community which are beneficial to my clients. I attended Booksin Elementary School, Edwin Markham Junior High School, Willow Glen High School and San Jose State University. I've been married to my wife Tricia for over 34 years - together we have a daughter, Ashley, a graduate of Chapman University in Orange, California.
