I grew up as part of a Silicon Valley farming family and it's a significant part of my heritage. I have vivid memories of picking Blenheim apricots, Bing cherries, and the fresh scent of corn as I walked the fields with my dad. Santa Clara was once known as the "Valley of Heart's Delight" due to the abundance of orchards, and I feel lucky to have witnessed the transformation of Silicon Valley into a global center of technological innovation and one of the wealthiest regions in the world. For the last 30 years, I've worked with my family in land acquisition and management, as well as handling the sales distribution and wholesale side of our oat hay and orchard business. My experience in the agriculture industry has given me valuable knowledge in representing farm and ranch properties. Selling land is not the same as selling a home in the city and requires addressing various land-related items such as wells and septic systems.
