Nathan Norberg

Nathan is a lifelong San Jose resident and trusted real estate broker with deep roots in the community. A proud Naglee Park native, he attended local public schools, graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to earn his Bachelors degree from UC Santa Cruz.   Before beginning his real estate career, Nathan spent time working and traveling abroad, served as a nanny in Washington, D.C. and spent two campaign seasons as a political organizer in Sunnyvale and Watsonville.   In 1997, he earned his real estate license and joined his stepmother, Georgie, at Capital Properties. He began as the on-site sales associate for Carnegie Square, a new development in downtown San Jose. After successfully closing out the final two phases, he transitioned to working full-time with buyers and sellers throughout the Bay Area. Early in his career, Nathan was especially active in helping local teachers purchase their first homes and co-taught homebuying seminars for the San Jose Teacher First-Time Buyer Program.   Over the years, Nathan has earned his Broker's License and expanded his client base to include buyers and sellers across six counties, representing properties ranging from downtown condominiums to historic homes to rural land. Known for being a good listener, a frank communicator, and a trustworthy adviser, Nathan takes pride in understanding each client's unique goals. He views every transaction as an opportunity to guide his clients through an important life moment and considers the trust they place in him a true privilege.   Nathan lives in the Rose Garden neighborhood with his wife, two teenage kids and the family's two dogs. When he's not working with clients, he enjoys playing guitar, coaching youth soccer and playing competitive adult soccer. He also loves spending time outdoors, whether camping, snow skiing, sailing or simply taking his dogs for a walk around the neighborhood.
