I grew up in the Willow Glen community of San Jose in a home built by my family. I enjoyed the comforts of living in town while also benefiting from farming many acres of land in South San Jose, minutes from home. I have vivid memories of picking Blenheim apricots and Bing cherries, and the fresh scent of corn, as I walked the fields with my dad. Santa Clara was once known as the "Valley of Heart's Delight" due to the abundance of orchards. I feel fortunate to have known what this area was like before it became the global hub for technological innovation and one of the wealthiest regions in the country.
For the past 30 years, I have been involved in land acquisition and management alongside my family. Until 2015, I oversaw sales distribution for Giordano Farms, our family business, which included hay, row crops, and orchards. Having worked in the ag industry, I have gained valuable knowledge in representing farm & ranch properties. Selling land can differ from selling a home in the city and involves addressing various land-related issues, such as wells and septic systems.
