Brian served six years on the board of Child Advocates of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, is a former board member for the Stephanie Ann Chancellor Foundation for Leukemia/Lymphoma Research, completed 6 years of serving on the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation, 9 years on the board of Palo Alto Community Fund, and now sits on its Advisory Board. Married for 24 years to Danish wife Nana (Social Worker & Community Volunteer Extraordinaire) and proud father of Sebastian (20) a sophomore at NYU and Oliver (17) a junior at Palo Alto High School.
