Sereno Group Gains Bay Area Green Business Certification

LOS GATOS, CA—May 21, 2007. Sereno Group Real Estate announced today it has been awarded certification as a Green Business by the Bay Area Green Business Program, after meeting the program’s requirements and standards for conserving resources, preventing pollution and minimizing waste.

Serving on Sereno Group’s Environmental Committee, agents Amy Grabill, Sean Manning and Roger Knapp were instrumental in working with the Bay Area Green Business Program to meet the certification criteria. The process occurred over several months of consultation, planning and execution of eco-minded systems and office upgrades.

Bay Area local governments in collaboration with US EPA and Cal EPA Department of Toxic Substances Control developed the program to recognize those local businesses looking to improve their environmental performance. Over 850 businesses and public agencies have been certified since 1996.
